Kaimana Beach Hotel and Rainbow Media

Kaimana Beach Hotel set a goal to authentically position itself as the leading and welcoming place in Waikiki for the LGTBQ community. We  secured a partnership with Rainbow Media, which owns and creates content for some of the most followed LGBTQ social media channels in the world.

Through a two-phased campaign that included content creation and a promotional giveaway timed to Honolulu Pride Month, Kaimana Beach Hotel was promoted across Rainbow Media’s Instagram, Facebook and Twitter social media channels (GayetyLGBTLGBTQPride, @gaycation) to reach an audience of more than 4.75 million. We were successfully able to negotiate and execute a six-figure value campaign solely on trade. The promotional trip giveaway had an above industry standard engagement rate of 15.8% and  attracted 550 entries.
